Dare is a contemporary lifestyle brand producing furniture by acclaimed designers for leading residential, hospitality and corporate environments.
Dare was founded in 2009 by Sean Dare, born out of admiration and love for the beauty of natural materials and the fine craft of furniture making.
The original aim to create honest designs with a highly considered function and purpose still remains at the heart of everything we create today.
We believe the production of our furniture is as important as the design itself, with a focused commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
All of our products are manufactured to the highest standards in our dedicated workshops across the UK and Europe.

In 2020, we opened a workshop specifically for bespoke production, allowing us to cater for unique projects including one off pieces for the home as well as reception desks, banquette seating and fitted joinery for corporate spaces.

Sustainability and environmental impact are key factors in all facets of the business.
We have proudly achieved the Chain of Custody (CoC) certification status, verifying the timbers used are traceable to source.
As a company we consistently review and implement ways to minimise our impact to the planet.

Our efforts have been rewarded with a number of accolades including four Design Guild Mark awards.
The prestigious Design Guild Mark is awarded by The Furniture Makers’ Company in order to recognise the highest standards in the design and production of furniture in Britain.

Based in a former Victorian coach works on the West Sussex coast, we supply a network of leading retailers, architects and interior designers around the world.
